United Wholesale Grocers (UWG), which operates the Shop Local retailer scheme and Lifestyle Express Symbol Group, has teamed up with ShopMate to launch ‘United Epos, powered by ShopMate’.
The wholesaler will roll out the new system to 200 stores over the next 12 months. It claimed that retailers using United Epos would benefit from seamless integration of stock and pricing, centralised promotions, and access to digital media screens powered by ShopMate’s intuitive platform. The system has been designed to empower retailers to spend less time on admin and more time growing their businesses.
