Birmingham-based Y International has joined Unitas Wholesale.
The company is an independent buying arm of the Lulu Group, which owns and operates more than 200 retail stores across the Middle East and India.
With a turnover in the region of £35m, Y International deals in grocery, impulse, chilled and frozen, as well as non-food products including health & beauty and pet foods. The business currently trades with over 70 supplier partners of Unitas.
Unitas boss John Kinney said: “We are delighted that Y International has decided to join the Unitas Wholesale family and welcome them to the Group. We are looking forward to working with Y International to support them in growing and developing their business into the future.”
Other recent additions to the Group include Albion Fine Foods, Primo Drinks, Drink Warehouse UK and KD Wholesale.
