Hancocks has introduced a limited range of Polish confectionery under the Wawel brand.

The six products are initially available in Scotland from the Glasgow depot only.

Milk Chocolate & Peanut; White Chocolate & Peanut; Truffle; and Chocolate & Fruit treats are all available in 195g bags with an RSP of £1 and a 28% retailer margin.

An Eastern European take on the after-dinner mint, Chocolate Mints is available in a 165g bag. It also has an RSP of £1, with a 28% margin.

Hancocks says the final product, Krowka Mleczna Creamy Fudge, is a Polish delicacy. A 250g bag retails at £1.69, with a margin of 25.4%.

A spokesperson for Hancocks said the confectionery cash and carry planned to broaden its Polish range over time.
