Oh ya dancer! SLR is delighted to announce that Scottish wrestling legend and all-round force of nature Grado will be returning to host this year’s SLR Awards.
The big man will make his way from the tap end of Stevenston to join us at the Radisson Blu in Glasgow on Wednesday 17 June for what’s sure to be a memorable evening.
Very much back by popular demand, he’ll bring his unique brand of chaos and banter to proceedings for a second year as we celebrate our exceptional industry – and have a damn fine time in the process.
It’s an event not to be missed, so grab your tickets to make sure you’re there on the night to celebrate the very best of Scottish local retailing.
Aside from his antics in the ring, Grado is best known for his appearances in ‘Scot Squad’ and ‘Two Doors Down’. And – much like convenience retailers – he’s up at the crack of dawn, putting in a shift as co-presenter of Heart Scotland’s breakfast show.
An early start didn’t stop him staying behind after last year’s presentation to mingle with guests and pose for selfies, though.
Last year he stayed till the very end. This year, we’re not sure we’ll be able to get rid of him.
