Tango back with a tang!

Britvic has launched a new TV and online marketing campaign for Tango.

Tango is growing at +2.6%, 6.1% ahead of the fruit carbonates category and 8.7% ahead of its nearest competitor, and Britvic hopes the new commercial will reinforce the message that ‘Tango is back!’

The ad, which Britvic says focuses on the unique experience that every sip of Tango provides, will air throughout the summer. In it a fan describes the taste sensations as ‘the five stages of tang’.

It will be also be shared via video-on-demand and will be complemented by a social media campaign across Facebook, Twitter and YouTube.

Jo Spencer, Brand Director at Britvic Soft Drinks, commented: “Following on from the launch of Tango Blood Orange earlier in the year, we are very excited to be rolling out the new Tango campaign and drive talk ability about this fantastic iconic British brand. Our considerable investment in this campaign shows our commitment to supporting Tango and further driving consumer appeal and sales.”
