Spar is bringing back 12 Deals of Christmas campaign for 2016, kicking off on 6th October for 12 weeks.
The campaign, launched in 2015, offers market-leading promotions and money-off deals every week.
Offers will run once again on top brands from suppliers including Smirnoff, Coca-Cola and Budweiser, as well as on Christmas essentials and Spar Brand products.
Digital activity to support the promotion will include a dedicated 12 Deals landing page on the Spar website, as well as ideas for last minute Christmas recipes and party planning, such as ‘Alcoholic Fudge’ and ‘The perfect baked eggs breakfast’.
The website will also feature videos, such as a ‘How-to guides’ for quick mulled wine and festive champagne cocktails. Meanwhile, support from social media will include posts across Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and to the Christmas section of spar.co.uk.
On Spar’s in-store radio, there will be a dedicated advert each week for each new deal, as well as Christmas sweepers, reminders, sound effects and classic Christmas tunes. Finally, retailers will receive in-store POS with an advent calendar theme, to create a magical feel for consumers and highlight the new deals every week.
