Former Co-op MD for B2B and Growth, Jerome Saint-Marc, has been appointed Spar UK’s Managing Director after Michael Fletcher announced his departure from the role.
Fletcher, who joined Spar UK in November 2024, will step away from his day-to-day responsibilities at the end of August and leave the business at the beginning of November.
Saint-Marc will take up the mantle with effect from from 17th August.
He brings 30 years’ experience across supply chain and retail, having held roles at Tesco, Morrisons, Wilko and, most recently, with Co-op.
Martin Agnew has also taken on the role of Chair of Spar Food Distributors (SFD) Board. Martin has served on the SFD Board for more than 25 years and brings extensive retail and wholesale experience to the role. He succeeds Nick Bunker, who recently stepped down as Chair.
