Spar Dash has been unveiled as Spar Scotland’s new home delivery platform powered by Snappy Shopper.
The platform offers a “seamless shopping experience” using Snappy Shopper’s white label e-commerce platform and order aggregation technology. It has been designed to help stores reach more customers, increase online sales and meet growing demand for convenience shopping at home.
Colin McLean, CEO of Spar Scotland said: “Spar Dash represents an exciting new chapter for Spar Scotland. Our customers increasingly expect convenience that fits around their busy lifestyles, and this platform allows us to deliver exactly that while continuing to support our local communities through our company owned stores and our independent retailers.”
Greg Deacon, Vice President, Snappy Media, Groups & Business Development, added: “We’re delighted to power Spar Dash and support Spar Scotland in expanding its digital convenience offering. Our technology has been built specifically for convenience retail, enabling stores to provide exceptional home delivery experiences while driving growth for independent retailers.
“Together, we’re making it even easier for customers across Scotland to access the products they need, including freshly prepared food and drinks, whenever they need them.”
Spar Dash will be rolled out across participating Spar Scotland stores, with more locations joining the platform over the coming months. Customers can order online to access groceries, fresh food, household essentials, hot food, Barista Bar hot drinks, all delivered quickly from their nearest participating store.
The launch reflects Spar Scotland’s continued investment in innovation, ensuring local stores and retailers remain competitive while providing customers with greater choice, flexibility and convenience.
