Learn what the country’s largest symbol group has to offer independent retailers at CJ Lang’s Depot Open Day.
Spar Scotland is inviting independent retailers to get up close and personal with a behind-the-scenes look at wholesaler CJ Lang’s distribution operation.
The Depot Open Day on 24 June will give prospective Spar retailers the opportunity to see first-hand the scale, capability and support behind the group’s offer, bringing its Discover Spar Scotland campaign to life.
With more than 300 convenience stores across the country, CJ Lang operates an impressive distribution network from its Dundee base, employing around 1,800 people and running a fleet of 55 vehicles to service stores nationwide.
The event will showcase the commercial, operational, marketing and category support available to Spar retailers across Scotland. Attendees will have the opportunity to meet the Spar Scotland team and find out more about how the group supports independent retailers in building successful, community-focused stores.
Retailers will also have the chance to learn more about Spar Scotland’s brand partnerships with Barista Bar Coffee to Go and Iceland Frozen Foods. They will gain a taste of the symbol’s comprehensive fresh and chilled offer, as well as its exclusive CJ’s Food to Go operation and local supplier network.
What’s more, attendees can discover what promotional and marketing tools are available to Spar retailers, including the symbol group’s investment in gamification, which has helped to grow footfall and increase customer engagement.
The event is designed to provide a true insight into what working with Spar Scotland looks like in practice, going beyond a depot tour to highlight the full package of support available to retailers.
From supply chain strength and depot operations through to people, services and commercial expertise, retailers will gain a clearer understanding of how CJ Lang supports store growth and day-to-day trading.
Attendees can also meet key members of the CJ Lang team, ask questions and explore how the business can help retailers improve standards and power up sales, while keeping community at their core.
