Monaco harbour

The National Lottery is replacing its monthly Mega Friday draws with the introduction of a ‘Mega Week’ every month. This is ahead of the first draw of the new EuroMillions game on Tuesday 27th September.

The initial Mega Week will include two special draws – the first taking place on Tuesday 27th September, which will make a guaranteed 10 UK millionaires, each also winning a luxury lifestyle experience of 100 days around the world. This will be followed on Friday 30th September by a one-off EuroMillions jackpot draw of £100m.

Retailers will receive promotional packs tailored to their individual store which include:

  • New Playstation graphics
  • A3 and A1 posters
  • Pop-up banners
  • Tent-cards
  • Bunting

In addition, retailers will be able to take part in a special store draw offering them the opportunity to ‘Dream Big’ alongside their players. The competition offers the chance to win one of three millionaire experience prizes worth around £10,000. Winners could find themselves living the dream in Monaco, staying at The Fairmont Hotel, with their own Ferrari on hand to help them to navigate the city. Or they could choose to land in Los Angeles to stay at The Beverley Hills Hotel and be a VIP on a trip to Universal studios – with a stash of cash to spend too.

Retailers can enter from now until 9pm on 30th September, by logging onto the competition website, registering their details – including retailer number – and answering three simple multiple choice questions about the new EuroMillions game.

James Pearson, Head of Retail Channel at Camelot, said: “I’m delighted that we’ve created an impactful campaign with exclusive competitions for our retailers. Their support in driving sales is vital in making sure we can continue to deliver for National Lottery Good Causes across the UK.”
