Anything is Poppable for Walkers

Walkers Poppables

Walkers is introducing a new ‘pop’-osition to shoppers with the arrival of Poppables, a spherical, potato snack.

Rolling out at the end of May, the new snack – which Walkers says is already a huge success in the US ­– will be available in 110g sharing packs (RSP £1.99).

The range comprises three variants: Sweet Chilli, Cheddar Cheese and BBQ Ribs.

Sweet Chilli will also be available in 25g (RSP 65p) and 60g (RSP £1) pack formats.

Kate Charman, Brand Manager at Walkers’ parent company PepsiCo, commented: “We are seeing strong growth from the sharing segment and anticipate the launch of Poppables driving growth through a fun, new-shaped snack, perfect for the ‘big night in’ occasion.

“We anticipate the brand engaging shoppers with its flavour-packed fun shape as we aim to drive additional traffic, and ultimately purchases, at the sharing fixture.”
