PG Tips has partnered with Disney+ to support the launch of the second season of ‘Rivals’ with a limited-edition on-pack promotion.
The activity, which launched nationwide on 1 May, centres on a pack-led competition giving shoppers the chance to win one of 3,000 exclusive, limited-edition Rivals-inspired PG Tips Monkeys.
To enter, shoppers can scan a QR code on participating packs to access the competition website, enter a unique 10-digit reference number found inside the top lid and instantly discover whether they have won.
The limited-edition packaging features the PG Tips Monkey reimagined with a Rutshire-inspired look, intended to deliver standout on shelf while tapping into interest around the return of the TV series.
Support includes an eight-week media campaign from 15 May across TikTok, Meta and broadcaster video on demand, alongside in-store activations. Shopper marketing activity, including gondola ends, aisle fins and online banners, will run from 28 May to 23 June. Consumer and trade PR activity will also run during the launch period to build awareness.
The PG Tips x Rivals range is available across several core formats: 80 tea bags (£3.59 RSP), 210 tea bags (£7.89 RSP), 240 tea bags (£8.99 RSP) and PG Tips Decaf 70 tea bags (£3.59 RSP).
