Nisa seeks sales uplift from Cider Festival

Nisa has kicked-off its latest Cider Festival, which runs for three weeks until Sunday April 15.

The event is supported with themed marketing materials and POS including shelf hangers, hanging signs, posters and gondola ends.

The Cider Festival has now become established as an annual event from Nisa, with last year’s campaign generating sales totalling £1.84m from promoted lines over the same three-week period.

Ciders on promotion for the festival include Kopparberg 10 x 330ml at £10, Smirnoff cider 10 x 330ml at £10, Strongbow and Strongbow Cloudy Apple 10 x 440ml at £8, 500ml bottles of Rekorderlig 2 for £4 and Kingstone Presse 12 x 440ml at £6.

Nisa’s Trading Controller for beer, ales and cider, Sam Yeadon, said: “The resurgence seen in the cider market in recent years continues and we have had some real success in our previous Cider Festival events.

“We’re confident that again, we are providing a strong offer to our members and their customers and we hope the event will drive an uplift in sales for our retailers.”
