Nicolite up sales

The National Federation of Retail Newsagents has unveiled a major new deal with electronic cigarettes supplier Nicolites to help members get involved in this fast growing market.

Under the scheme NFRN members are being urged to stock Nicolites e-cigarettes which offer up to 40% margin and are available on sale or return.

Details of special starter packs, which come in compact display units and comprise a range of Nicolites e-cigarettes and refills, are available both from NFRN Retail Development Managers and the NFRN Helpline. Amazon in c-stores

Online retailer Amazon has announced that it is to deliver parcels to nearly 5,000 convenience stores and newsagents around the country following a low key trial on items such as books and clothes.

Consumers will be able to collect their orders from local stores that are conveniently open late, instead of having to wait in for orders or coming home to find a delivery note telling them to collect their parcel from the nearest Royal Mail depot. They will also be able to use the Collect+ scheme to send unwanted items back to the retailer, making it easier, for example, to return clothes that do not fit.
