The ‘Nan from Del Monte’, Pauline Crosby, makes her TV debut this month alongside her granddaughter and great-granddaughter in a new campaign from Fresh Del Monte.
Crosby was chosen earlier this year by public vote following a nationwide search for a modern replacement for the brand’s original 1980s Man from Del Monte.
The campaign supports Fresh Del Monte’s partnership with Disney’s Zootropolis 2, which releases in the UK on 28 November. Co-branded stickers featuring film characters will appear on fresh fruit and canned products, including bananas, pineapples and tinned fruit. Hundreds of millions of stickers will be distributed globally.
A consumer competition runs on packs and social channels, offering a trip to Dubai and themed prizes.
The activity is backed by POS, print, digital and on-pack communications across fresh and tinned categories.
