Cereal bar brand Nākd is bringing a burst of fruit to healthier snacking with the launch of Nākd Protein Cherry Bars.
Designed to attract new shoppers to the category, Nākd Protein Cherry Bars are available as a 45g single (RSP £1.38) and a 3×45g multipack (RSP £3.30).
It joins the brand’s existing trio of natural protein bars: Cocoa Hazelnut, Peanut Butter and Caramel.
The new bar adds a distinctly fruity twist to the protein set. As with the wider range, it is made with 100% natural ingredients and is cold pressed, with cherry delivering a distinctive yet familiar taste. Each bar offers six grams of plant‑based protein and no added sugar. It is naturally HFSS compliant, aiming to bridge everyday snacking with protein‑led nutrition.
Arriving as demand for functional health bars remains high, the launch targets shoppers looking for convenient, on‑the‑go formats that boost protein intake while offering fresher flavours than the chocolate‑ and caramel‑led options currently dominating shelves.
The roll-out builds on momentum behind Nākd, the UK’s seventh-largest cereal bar brand, worth £40.8m and up 9.6% year on year. Within that, Nākd Protein has become a key growth driver, generating more than £9.6m RSV and up 25% year on year.
