Coca‑Cola Europacific Partners GB (CCEP) has added Monster Juiced Viking Berry to its energy drinks range, available now in plain and price‑marked cans.
The variant blends the Monster Energy base with real fruit juices and Nordic‑inspired berry flavours in a purple liquid. Packaging features Viking imagery with the brand’s claw mark for standout on shelf.
The launch builds on strong momentum for flavoured energy and berries in particular. Berry flavours in soft drinks are up 20% year on year, while flavoured energy remains a key category driver, now worth £1.2bn in GB and growing 20.1% over the past year. Within the brand, the Monster Juiced range is up 17.5% in value and now worth £342m in GB. Monster’s NPD accounts for more than half of all energy drinks innovation sales, and every Monster Juiced flavour since 2018 has landed at No. 1 or No. 2 for category NPD in its launch year.
Viking Berry is already performing strongly in other markets, becoming Monster’s third-bestselling Juiced flavour in the US. In GB, it joins a 10‑strong Juiced line‑up and follows a burst of recent launches across the portfolio, including Monster Ultra Fantasy Ruby Red, Monster Juiced Rio Punch and Monster Lando Norris Zero Sugar.
