Mattessons hopes to drive further penetration into the meat snacking category with the launch of its new Savagers range.
Mattessons Savagers are made with 100% prime pork which is naturally cured over seven days and slowly smoked. The range is available in two flavours: Classic Chorizo & Smoked Salami. Both are available now in multipack format (rrp £1.69) and singles (rrp £79p).
Continental meats are experiencing strong levels of popularity, particularly Chorizo which is in growth by +19.5% YOY. Mattessons’ aims to capitalise on this growing trend to drive incremental sales as target buyers say that Savagers wouldn’t replace anything they already purchase.
