Unilever goes nuts with new Marmite launch

Marmite peanut butter

Unilever brand Marmite has rolled out a new variant after the spread’s fans posted “a huge number” of recipes on social media that combined it with peanut butter.

Marmite Peanut Butter is available now in a 225g jar with an RSP of £2.50.

The launch is supported by a PR/social media campaign.

The new combo echoes Marmite branding with a yellow lid and recognisable brand colours, whilst the jar style mirrors that of other peanut butter products. As with the rest of the Marmite range, the product is rich in B vitamins, suitable for vegetarians and has no added sugar or palm oil.

Camilla Williamson, Brand Manager for Marmite at Unilever, said: “Whether they love it or hate it, we know the British public will be desperate to try it.”
