Man charged in connection with Aberdeen shoplifting

A 32-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with 13 thefts from stores across Aberdeen city centre.

The shoplifting incidents took place between Monday, 8 September and Tuesday, 2 December, 2025. The stolen property has since been recovered.

The man was due to appear at Aberdeen Sheriff Court on Wednesday, 3 December.

Constable Max Kuls, City Centre Policing Team, said: “We will continue to conduct high visibility patrols throughout the city centre over the festive period. Local officers are working alongside the Retail Crime Taskforce to combat retail crime.”
