Britvic has announced the launch of a new raspberry flavoured Lipton Ice Tea. Targeting its core audience of 18-34 year olds, Lipton Raspberry Ice Tea, joins existing variants Peach, Lemon and Mango to complete the range.

In addition to the new flavour, the brand has also introduced a reformulated liquid, which sees all variants have a 30% reduction in sugar, meaning that the adult soft drink will now contain less than 100 calories per 500ml.

Raspberry is the number three SKU globally for the brand, and the new variant is available for retailers to pick up and order now.

A spokesperson for Britvic Soft Drinks said: “Lipton Raspberry Ice Tea is aimed for grown up taste buds and will drive excitement for shoppers in the UK, unlocking further sales for retailers over the summer months.”

Lipton Ice Tea will also see a refreshed new look for its PET bottle with revised sleeved label, bottle shape and texture aiming to give the product a more modern and premium look. The refreshed packs aim to drive penetration by engaging with shoppers and giving the brand greater stand out on-shelf.

All variants are available in 500ml PET formats and Lipton Ice Tea has an rrp of £1.13. The product is available in 500ml PMPs for the wholesale channel at 99p per 500ml pack.
