Kitwave Wholesale Group has acquired Fife Creamery, with the Kirkcaldy-based retail and foodservice wholesaler becoming part of the group’s Scottish operations.
Founded more than 70 years ago, Fife Creamery serves customers across Scotland’s retail and hospitality sectors.
The business will continue to operate under the Fife Creamery brand, with no changes to its depot, operations, sales or head office teams. Steve Appolinari will remain Managing Director and the existing leadership structure will stay in place.
Customers and suppliers will continue to work with their current contacts, with no changes to day-to-day operations.
As part of the deal, Fife Creamery will also join the Country Range Group.
The Simpson family, which is exiting the business, completed the sale with a focus on securing the company’s long-term future.
Kitwave said the acquisition supports its growth ambitions in Scotland while maintaining the values, people and service on which Fife Creamery has built its reputation.
