St Andrews-based Kingsbarns Distillery has reached a major milestone with the launch of its Kingsbarns 10-year-old single malt.
The new release reflects a decade of development and commitment to a light, elegant Lowland-style whisky rooted in East Coast tradition.
The 10-year-old single malt has been matured predominantly in ex-Bourbon barrels with a touch of shaved, toasted and re-charred wine casks, resulting in a soft and balanced profile with notes of summer fruits and vanilla. It offers greater depth, richness and complexity that comes with time.
The distillery produces all of its whisky on-site using locally sourced barley and water drawn from beneath the facility. All releases are natural in colour, non-chill filtered and matured in carefully selected casks. Kingsbarns also operates its own bonded warehouse, overseeing every stage of the cask journey with full digital tracking for transparency.
The Kingsbarns 10-year-old (46% ABV) is available now with an RSP of £65.
