Keystore is encouraging retailers to support local children’s nurseries by donating Christmas selection boxes as part of its seasonal community drive.
Mondelez supplied Cadbury selection boxes to participating retailers, with Keystore Lochfield in Paisley among the first to get involved by delivering the treats to Todholm Nursery. Store owner Edith Smyth, who co‑owns the shop with Avril Cole, is a regular supporter of local charities and good causes.
She said: “Todholm Nursery is just along the road from the store and it’s great to see big smiles on little faces at such an exciting time of year for these young children. Many of them come into the store with their parents so we know them and want them to have an amazing Christmas.
“This is a great festive campaign from KeyStore and we’re more than happy to support it – it’s good for business as well as the nursery and kids who receive a selection box, particularly as nurseries to do not receive the same financial support as primary and secondary schools.”
The campaign is designed to strengthen community ties and place the store at the heart of local life, helping to build long‑term loyalty and drive sales and footfall.
Keystore fascia owner JW Filshill said more retailers are taking part this year and thanked Mondelez for backing the initiative.
