Jet Menstrie Service Station in Clackmannanshire was acquired from UK Fuel by Karan Retail on Tuesday 30 June and is set to have its imagery refreshed following planned works at the site in the next few months.
The sale was brokered by Scottish Business Agency acting on behalf of UK Fuel owner Gulham Yasin.

Karan Retail also acquired Jet Chidswell Service Station in West Yorkshire on the same day.
The company recently moved its Crowborough Service Station in East Sussex across from TotalEnergies to Jet branding, after Jet stepped in to supply fuel during the disruption that followed the administration of Harvest Energy and the wider Prax liquidation last year.
Karan Retail owner Sivasubramaniam Suthakaran, aka Karan, said: “Jet provided support that was clear, consistent and straightforward during a period of uncertainty and instability. Jet helped us keep the business moving and gave us confidence in the next step. Bringing Crowborough across to Jet, with Chidswell and Menstrie following, feels like a positive move for the business and one we’re pleased to be making.”
Chris Murphy, Retail Account Manager, UK Marketing, Phillips 66 Limited, said: “Supporting dealers when circumstances change, through a tailored approach, is central to how we work at Jet. With Karan Retail, that meant helping to provide continuity during a difficult period and then supporting the next stage of growth as Crowborough rebranded and joined the Jet network. We’re delighted to be working with Karan as Chidswell and Menstrie come into the portfolio as well, and we look forward to building our relationship.”
