Held on Thursday 27 August 2026 at Barrowlands Art & Design, the fifth Checkout Scotland music festival was widely acclaimed as “the best one yet”.
Organised by the Scottish Committee of GroceryAid (pictured above), the ever-popular event gave a fundraising boost for the industry charity and raised awareness of the free and confidential financial, emotional and practical support it offers to everyone working in our industry.
Colleagues from across Scotland came to Glasgow for the event, including teams from Spar Renfrew…
…and United Wholesale Scotland.
They were treated to DJ sets from Babyccino (above) and Cassie.
Jim Harper also made a point of hitting the decks.
The Scottish Grocers’ Federation were there, canvassing for more Buckfast cocktails.
Meanwhile, Pinkie Farm struck gold in finding a seat.
Grado hosted the event, fresh from his stint at the SLR Awards.
Bucket hats were out in force.
As were the RaceTrack crew.
DJ Naeem brought some Bhangra to the Barras…
…and EPoS experts MHouse brought everyone.
The audience went wild for Boyzlife…
…although not everyone was Flying Without Wings.
Nathan Evans & The Saint Phnx Band capped a great evening.
Amazingly, not one drink was spilled all night.
