Herbal Essences has kicked-off 2017 by launching a new range of shampoos and conditioners, specifically created to gently cleanse hair of daily residues and help restore freshness and shine.

The launch follows research carried out by P&G on the damaging effects air pollution has on hair.

Available now, Herbal Essences Daily Detox Collection is a range of three shampoos and three conditioners. Free of silicones and parabens, each shampoo and conditioner combines individual fragrances with detoxifying mint oil to refresh and deliver either a deep clean, shine or volume.

All variants have an RSP of £3.99, and include: White Tea & Mint (shine), Crimson Orange & Mint (volume) and Golden Raspberry & Mint (clean).

Jo Vaughan, haircare brand manager at P&G, commented: “We all know it’s important to keep hair clean and refreshed – but we sometimes forget how much it goes through each and every day. Pollution and weather on top of hair styling can make hair feel like it needs a detox, and that’s why the new range is such a great addition to the Herbal Essences family and a must-stock for all retailers.”

Also, P&G’s other haircare brand Pantene has introduced Smart Pro-V, an upgrade across its range of conditioners to treat damaged hair and build strength. The new formula spreads conditioning ingredients evenly and quickly into the hair fibre, targeting damaged areas and repairing them.

Vaughan added: “Our continued partnership with Ellie Goulding as brand ambassador is sure to engage consumers and boost awareness of the brand, so retailers should ensure they have a good range of Pantene products in-store to benefit from the increased demand.”
