Hampden Estate has added a new permanent rum to its core range with Hampden Fifteen, the distillery’s oldest expression, available now in the UK via distributor Speciality Brands.
Made the old‑fashioned way in traditional copper pot stills, the rum delivers Hampden’s trademark big, fruity aroma. It’s based on a historic 1952 recipe and aged for 15 years in former bourbon barrels. Because it matures entirely in Jamaica’s heat and humidity, more than three quarters of the liquid evaporates over time (the “angel’s share”), which naturally concentrates flavour and richness.
Hampden Fifteen is bottled at 50% ABV with an RSP of £370, and is available now on allocation at select retailers.
