Gulf takes classic cars on the road to celebrate heritage

Gulf UK is inviting car enthusiasts to join a series of open days celebrating the brand’s history.​

​Certas Energy, which supplies fuel to around 1,300 forecourts including 500 Gulf-branded stations, is hosting ‘Gulf’s Big Journey’ at sites across Scotland and England throughout September. The events will feature around 50 classic cars including Morris Minors, Triumph Stags, Triumph TRs and MGs.​

​Visitors will be able to enter competitions to win Gulf merchandise, cinema tickets and a holiday, including an Amalfi coast road trip. The events run from 10am until midday.​

​Gulf Lowmoss Service Station in Glasgow will host an event on Sunday 14 September.​

​Further open days are being held south of the border at:​

  • ​Gulf Wivelsfield Service Station, Haywards Heath – Saturday 6 September​
  • ​Gulf Lichfield Service Station, Stoke-on-Trent – Sunday 7 September​
  • ​Gulf Tewkesbury Service Station, Tewkesbury – Saturday 13 September​
  • ​Gulf Witton Gilbert Service Station, Durham – Sunday 14 September​

​Classic car clubs taking part include the Glasgow Moggies, The Durham MG and Classic Car Club, Cotswold Classic Car Club, TR Stoke Group and the West Sussex Stag Owners Club.​

​The event is part of a collaboration with Sony Pictures Entertainment for the new film A Big, Bold, Beautiful Journey.
