GroceryAid sets July dates for ‘Pedal the Borders’ ride in Scotland

GroceryAid cyclists

GroceryAid has opened bookings for its 2026 ‘Pedal the Borders’ cycle challenge, a fully supported three‑day event based in the Scottish Borders from Wednesday 15 July to Friday 17 July, designed for intermediate and advanced riders and built around two endurance routes.

Riders arrive on the Tuesday evening before a group ride across the Borders on the Wednesday; on Thursday and Friday participants can choose between two planned route options before returning each day to the same centrally located hotel, which includes spa facilities for post‑ride recovery. A celebration dinner takes place on the Friday night, with departures on the Saturday morning.

Entry is priced at £2,300 (incl. VAT) per rider. The package covers a fully supported three‑day ride with mechanical support and ride leaders, four nights’ hotel accommodation (twin share; single‑occupancy +£400), all food and refreshments, two event jerseys, a dedicated event app, pre‑event training plans and a free training ride ahead of the challenge. Accommodation is booked for Tuesday through Friday nights.

GroceryAid is offering sponsorship packages that provide “exceptional exposure and engagement with senior decision‑makers from across the grocery industry”, positioning the event as a strong platform for brand visibility and client hosting across the three days. The charity describes the ride as “a powerful platform for sponsors to showcase their brand in a meaningful and engaging way.”
