Sweetcorn brand Green Giant is marking 100 years of its mascot Jolly the Green Giant with a nationwide in-store activation, a visual refresh, and its largest ever on-pack promotion.
The promotion runs until 31 December across four-packs of Green Giant’s Original and Salt-Free Sweetcorn. Shoppers have hundreds of chances to win £100 cash prizes, with a total prize pool of £25,000.
Green Giant’s ‘100 years of irresistible sweetness’ campaign has already lifted household penetration by +0.1% and increased value share by +1.5%, following a year of sustained growth.
The brand’s corn is grown within 200km of its southwest France factory. Each cob is picked at maturity and canned within 12 hours to preserve flavour and crunch. Green Giant uses a proprietary non-GMO corn variety that is free from pesticide residues, with full traceability provided via an on-pack QR code.
