Mohammad Rafi, owner of the Day‑Today Express store on Shettleston Road in Glasgow, sadly passed away on Monday (3 August).
His sons, Junaid and Jawaad, will continue to run the store, which recently underwent a major refit, with a refreshed fascia and the installation of customer‑facing digital media screens across key in‑store touchpoints.
Mohammad worked closely with United Wholesale (Scotland) Development Manager Eddie McCrory and the rest of the Day‑Today team to complete the revamp.
McCrory said of his passing: “It is sad news indeed. He was an industry legend in the Glasgow area and a great man to deal with.”
