Ginsters Festive Pasty

Ginsters has revealed details its new Christmas line-up which includes two limited edition sandwiches and three savouries.

Making a return this year is the Ginsters Festive Pasty – made with British turkey, smoked bacon, cranberries, potato and onion in a creamy Westcountry sauce, wrapped in light puff pastry – and the Festive Turkey, Pork Stuffing & Cranberry Slice – packed with British turkey, British pork stuffing, potatoes and onions in a creamy sauce, cranberries and a hint of wholegrain mustard, wrapped in a light puffed pastry.

Joining the savouries are two of Ginsters’ most popular limited edition sandwiches. The first, the Festive Edition Christmas Cracker, is a mix of British turkey breast, Cumberland sausage, sweetcure smoke flavoured bacon, sage and onion stuffing, cranberry and red onion chutney on oatmeal bread. The second, the Cranberry, Wensleydale and Bacon sandwich, comprises of crumbled Wensleydale cheese, cranberry, seasoned mayonnaise and sweetcure smoke flavoured bacon on malted grain bread.

Completing the line-up is the Ginsters Festive Bar – a blend of British pork sausage meat with British turkey filled with a cranberry, onion and herb sauce wrapped in breadcrumbs.

In fact, the rate of sale for the Ginsters festive range is the best we see all year for our limited edition ranges. Retailers should take advantage of this year’s range, together with its eye-catching festive packaging, which will attract shoppers and drive sales.”

Ginsters will be making a donation to the Royal Voluntary Service from the sale of its festive range. This will go towards supporting Royal Voluntary Service’s delivery of Christmas meals to older vulnerable people across Britain on Christmas Day.

The range will be supported by POS material and will be available from 28th October.
