French cider maker targets wider retail with brand refesh

Wignac cider

France’s family‑run organic cidermaker Wignac has unveiled a brand refresh with new, more impactful packaging ahead of peak cider season.

The update is rolling out now across the UK, backed by investment in digital, social and influencer activity, on‑trade activations, advertising, events and sponsorship.

Produced in the Ardennes, the range is made with 100% organic pure apple juice and contains no added sugar, colourings or sulphites. The portfolio comprises Wignac Organic Pomme Cider (4.5% abv) in 33cl and 75cl bottles; Wignac Organic Rosé Cider (4.5% abv) in 33cl and 75cl; and Wignac Organic Non‑Alcoholic in 33cl and 75cl.

The refresh is designed to help the brand step up its presence in multiples, convenience and speciality retail. It already lists with a number of prominent on‑trade operators.

Co‑founder Eliane Astor said: “While the quality of our organic liquid has never been in question, although enchanting – the old branding was tired and didn’t effectively communicate our story, passion, provenance and premium positioning. To this end, we’re delighted to roll out Wignac’s fresh, distinctive yet playful new look.”
