Freixenet is set to expand its presence in the growing spritz category with the launch of Freixenet Solare, a new Mediterranean aperitivo inspired by the flavours of Spain.
Made with Spanish lemon, clementine and rosemary, alongside a blend of botanicals, Freixenet Solare has been developed to meet demand for lighter, refreshing aperitif serves. The product is made with 100% natural flavours and is designed to be enjoyed as part of a spritz occasion.
The launch is being supported by Freixenet’s new ‘Taste the Sun’ campaign, which focuses on sharing social moments from golden hour through to the evening.
At the heart of the campaign is the Freixenet Solare Spritz, made using three parts Freixenet Sparkling, two parts Freixenet Solare and one part sparkling water, served over ice with a slice of lemon.
Freixenet Solare will be available in both 70cl bottles and 250ml cans, with alcoholic and non-alcoholic variants available. The 70cl bottle has an RSP of £17 and will be available through Amazon from the end of July. The 250ml can has an RSP of £3 and is due to launch in Morrisons from October.
Additional retail listings are expected to follow.
