Delice de France launches new food-to-go solution

Delice De France sandwiches

Delice de France has launched Delice to Go, a branded, modular concept featuring hot, chilled, and ambient grab-and-go products.

The concept includes merchandising solutions for ambient bakery, chilled displays, hot food-to-go units, and a bean-to-cup coffee offer.

The offer includes an expansion into the chilled food category with eight chilled sandwiches, three salads, and seven heat-to-eat products. Vegan and vegetarian options are available.

Key products include Chicken, Bacon Mayonnaise Sandwich; Coronation Chicken Sandwich; Chicken Salad Sandwich; and a Tuna Cucumber Sandwich. Salads provided are Chicken & Pesto Pasta, Houmous & Falafel Mezze, and Tuna Pasta Salad. The heat-to-eat range features three paninis (Ham & Cheese, Tuna Melt, Chicken Balti), an All Day Breakfast wrap, and a trio of croques (Five Cheese; & Chorizo; Ham & Cheese).

Each chilled product has a minimum shelf life of four days. Customers can place chilled orders via the company’s webshop, with a day-one-for-day-three delivery lead time and a 12-noon cut-off.

Delice de France food to go

Outlets can integrate Delice’s chilled products into existing food-to-go displays or use the Delice to Go concept. The proposition includes a category-managed approach to product ranging, with sweet bakery lines such as morning goods, sweet treats, cookies, wrapped cake bars, and muffins.

The Delice to Go menu also offers hot food, including savoury pastries, turnovers, and breakfast rolls. For lunch, selections include savoury slices, sausage rolls, burgers, and potato wedges.

Additionally, retailers can offer Café Delice, a monthly rental hot drinks concept. This bean-to-cup solution includes an automatic machine, linked milk cooler, branded housing unit, and menu.

Partner outlets receive time-of-day planograms and a customised suite of PoS materials, including a branded fascia if required. The Delice team also provides advice on preparation area optimisation and product information.

Delice to Go has a 12-week installation timeline from order to outlet launch. Based on requirements, Delice de France estimates partner outlets could turn over approximately £200,000 a year.
