A handheld pizza snack that has built a strong following across Scotland is now available in Scotmid stores.
Cosmo’s Pizzini hit shelves this week after being named a winner in Scotmid’s Scottish Favourites competition, giving shoppers wider access to the product beyond its traditional school setting.
The grab-and-go twist on pizza is particularly popular among younger consumers, where it has become a familiar option in school dining halls across the country.
Sold in twin packs, the range includes flavours such as Margherita and BBQ Chicken, offering a convenient, quick-to-eat option for shoppers seeking portable comfort food.
The Midlothian-based brand, which has been making pizzas since 1988, secured its listing after winning under this year’s ‘Innovation’ theme in Scotmid’s Scottish Favourites. The initiative supports Scottish producers by providing a primary listing in stores.
Cosmo’s Pizzini is available now in selected Scotmid stores with an RSP of £2.25.
Steven Addison, Local Sourcing Manager at Scotmid, said: “The competition champions innovative Scottish brands and helps bring fresh ideas to convenience shoppers. It’s great to know that Pizzini’s already have a huge following and we’re excited to see how they perform across our stores.”
