Coca-Cola European Partners (CCEP) has expanded its juice drinks portfolio with the launch of Capri-Sun 330ml Blackcurrant.
The new variant joins Orange and Cherry flavours in the Capri-Sun 330ml on-the-go pouch range and taps into consumer demand for on-the-go blackcurrant-flavoured juice drinks, which are now worth £62m.
Capri-Sun 330ml Blackcurrant is available now in shelf-ready packaging with an RSP of £1.09.
It is made from real fruit juice, contains no preservatives or artificial flavouring and is Soft Drink Tax-exempt. The pouches feature easy to reseal twisty tops.
The launch is supported by a wider £6m Capri-Sun marketing spend throughout 2020. This features advertising across a number of traditional channels coupled with in-store, social and digital campaigns. The marketing highlights that the entire Capri-Sun range contains nothing artificial and offers consumers a choice of low and no added sugar products.
