Cadbury has unveiled a new promotional campaign in partnership with BBC Children in Need and its Bitesize Giving Initiative, transforming its Share Bags into Care Bags.
The brand is teaming up with Pudsey to donate £150,000 to Children in Need, with proceeds from share bags of Cadbury Dairy Milk Caramel Nibbles and Cadbury Dairy Milk Buttons going to charitable causes that support young lives in communities across the UK.
At the heart of the campaign is a celebration of project workers who help children and young people thrive — tackling poverty, poor mental health and social inequality with compassion, commitment and kindness.
Retailers, positioned at the centre of their communities, can play a vital role in driving shopper engagement with the initiative. From using relevant POS to organising charity fun runs and challenges, their involvement will amplify its impact. With every bag bought contributing towards the £150,000 donation, Cadbury said retailers have the chance to make a huge difference to those in need.
The campaign is supported by social media and PR activities until the end of November.
