C-Store Collective – the new convenience and forecourt retailing super-consultancy from John Heagney, Mike Igoe and Jonathan Rons – has welcomed B2B events business OpenRoom as a new partner.

Designed to support suppliers, retailers and brands with the aim of increasing sales in the convenience and forecourt sectors, OpenRoom joins as C-Store Collective’s sixth partner.

OpenRoom creates industry-specific events around the world connecting end users with suppliers. Using one-to-one meetings and social functions, it provides a networking experience for those looking to build their business.

Mike Igoe (pictured), Founding Partner of C-Store Collective, said: “We are thrilled to be teaming up with Emma and Fiona at OpenRoom with the additional boost of being selected as the content partner at next year’s C-Store UK and PetroForum UK event.

“Convenience and forecourt retailing have always been exciting sectors to work in. Now more than ever, there are numerous opportunities available for retailer-owned businesses looking to build their store and site estate. It is also a great time for suppliers looking to bring new product to market. We are very excited to be in a position to help facilitate these relationships.”

As a result of the partnership, C-Store Collective has been selected as content provider for the 2021 C-Store UK and PetroForum UK event taking place in Vilamoura from 21-22 June 2021.

Fiona Horan, Co-Founder of OpenRoom Events, said: “We are delighted about joining C-Store Collective. As a new initiative, we feel it is the ideal partner for our convenience and fuel event taking place next year. The experience and success of the consultative business will ensure we have accurate and informed content for all delegates taking part.”

For the first time, C-Store UK and PetroForum UK will be co-hosted at the Tivoli Marina in the Algarve allowing the natural synergies of the two events to flourish.

An invitation only event, connecting UK independent fuel and convenience retailers, the aim is to provide delegates with a wide range of product and solution providers to help take their business to the next level. The forum is designed for supplier companies to meet with retailers’ procurement decision-makers through pre-arranged meetings, conferences and networking opportunities.

C-Store Collective works with partner businesses to provide solutions to those operating within the convenience and forecourt sector. Business transfer agents Clifford Lax, benchmarking platform Convenience Pulse, creative design and marketing agency Design Workshop, finance company Financial Strategic Solutions (FSS) and retail licensing business Licensing Solutions have all signed up to be in the collective’s partners scheme.
