Butterkist returns to big screen with Wicked: For Good partnership

KP Snacks has announced the return of its silver-screen partnership between Butterkist and Universal Pictures’ upcoming release Wicked: For Good.

Launching at the end of October, the on-pack promotion aims to capture shopper attention, drive incremental sales, and build on Butterkist’s long-standing association with movies. All core Butterkist flavours – including Sweet, Salted, Toffee and Sweet & Salty – will feature Wicked: For Good-themed flash designs across sharing, microwave and PMP packs.

The promo gives consumers the chance to win a family trip to see the Northern Lights, alongside hundreds of themed prizes such as branded popcorn buckets and water bottles.

Butterkist is now worth £57m and remains the most popular branded popcorn product in the UK.

Wicked: For Good is the final chapter of the untold story of the witches of Oz. It hits cinemas on 21 November.
