Bestway helps sick kids

£100,000 cheque for Great Ormond Street

Bestway has donated £100,000 to Great Ormond Street Hospital Children’s Charity (GOSH Charity), via its Bestway Foundation.

Zameer Choudrey (pictured left with Tim Johnson and Dawood Pervez), Bestway Group’s Chief Executive, handed over a cheque for the sum to the charity’s boss Tim Johnson at a presentation on Tuesday (November 27).

GOSH Charity raises vital funds to support Great Ormond Street Hospital and the 618 children and young people who arrive there for treatment every day.

Thanking the Bestway Foundation, Johnson said the donation would “help us to support the seriously ill children and young people from across the UK who are cared for at the hospital.”

“We are very grateful for the Bestway Foundation’s ongoing support,” he added.

The Bestway Foundation was established by Sir Anwar Pervez in 1987 to support less fortunate people through the advancement of education and relief of sickness and preservation of health.
