Ben & Jerry’s brought a community picnic to Aberdeen after Keystore Express Cults owner Chris Cobb won a UK-wide competition that marked the launch of the brand’s Cookie Dough Ice Cream Sandwich.
Running from 22 June to 19 July, the competition gave retailers the chance to bring local people together while celebrating the role convenience stores play in their communities.
As part of the prize, Chris also received £2,000 to donate to a cause of his choice.
On 25 August, Cults and District WRI Hall hosted the community event, with local residents enjoying food, live music and Ben & Jerry’s ice cream.
Chris Cobb of Keystore Express said: “It was a great day for the whole community to enjoy. We were so thrilled to be selected as the winner, and it was a fantastic opportunity to give something back to the people who support our business every day. Seeing our customers, local families and neighbours come together to enjoy the event made us incredibly proud. We would like to say a huge thank you to Ben & Jerry’s for making this happen.”
The brand encouraged retailers to find out more about its range and claim free POS materials to help create in-store displays through its Cookie Dough Ice Cream Sandwich campaign website.
