Retailer Ashok Pothugunta, who owns stores in Scotland and England, has extended his long-standing partnership with the group.
The family-run business currently operates five stores across Edinburgh, Peebles, Selkirk and Stirling.
Under the renewed agreement, four of Ashok’s stores in England, comprising two existing sites and two future locations, will adopt the new Nisa fascia and benefit from the introduction of digital in-store media screens. Co-op Wholesale and Ashok are also collaborating on the development of a new convenience store in England.
