Arla Foods has entered the cottage cheese category with the launch of Arla Cottage Cheese, which rolls out in Natural and Low Fat Natural variants.
The range is available now in 300g (RSP £1.90) and 500g (RSP £3) pots, designed for everyday use across meals and snacks. Further flavours and formats are due for later this year.
The launch targets younger, protein‑seeking shoppers who have seen cottage cheese recipes on social media, with digital and in‑store activation planned to drive trial and repeat purchase.
About one in four UK households (26.8%) buys cottage cheese today, and Arla believes it can grow the category by winning shoppers from other high‑protein dairy lines.
