Amber Beverage Group (ABG), maker of Moskovskaya Vodka and Rooster Rojo Tequila, has announced its sponsorship of the Ukrainian men’s national basketball team.
The agreement supports the team’s participation in the qualifying matches at the FIBA World Cup 2023. The matches will be held in Riga, Latvia due to ongoing hostilities in Ukraine.
Commenting on the sponsorship, Jekaterina Stuģe, CEO of ABG, said: “We are supporting athletes who have done everything possible to become the best at their game in order to be selected for the national team. Their talent, impressive efforts, achievements, and agility must not vanish due to the war.
“We support the team and wish them the best of luck in their efforts to be the world-leading team they deserve to become. During the games, there will be hundreds of ABG employees cheering for Ukraine’s victory. We hope that Ukraine will prevail – and not only on the basketball court.”
