National Lottery operator Allwyn has partnered with van sales business Bobby’s in a trial aimed at boosting support for independent National Lottery retailers through regular visits on Allwyn’s behalf.
The initiative is separate from Allwyn’s own sales force visits. As part of their routine calls, Bobby’s reps will provide National Lottery support focused on POS and scratchcard activations to help retailers maintain range and availability. They will use Hubpix technology, a digital platform that applies AI to turn in-store photos into actionable data.
Alison Acquaye-Acford, Director of Commercial Partnerships and Retail Sales at Allwyn, said the partnership will increase face-to-face support and give retailers more information to help drive ticket and scratchcard sales, boosting commission and contributions to good causes.
John Lucas, Head of Sales at Bobby’s, said the initiative builds on Bobby’s scale and data capabilities, integrating National Lottery support into its existing visits to 22,000 retailers.
