Shooters on target for GroceryAid

Clay pigeon shooting

GroceryAid’s fourth Diageo-sponsored clay pigeon shoot has raised £30k for the charity.

The event took place at the Gleneagles Shooting School on 11 October. Twenty-four participants from the grocery industry took aim in a number of individual and group challenges, with the team from ABP Beef taking overall victory.

After an afternoon’s shooting in the grounds, teams were treated to an evening of cocktails laid on by Diageo and enjoyed an excellent dinner.

Dave Smith, Senior Account Manager for ABP Beef, commented: “I would like to say a massive thank you to Diageo for yet again organising such a great event. Long may it continue and well done to all involved. Best of all it raises huge amounts for GroceryAid.”

GroceryAid also extended its thanks to Diageo and in particular its GB Sales Director, Guy Dodwell, for hosting the event.
