Lotto butlers ring some luck

Lottery butlers

Allanwater Papers in Stirling was treated to a visit by a pair of National Lottery butlers recently to celebrate the number of big winners made in the area.

Since The National Lottery’s launch in 1994, the FK postcode (which includes Stirling) has produced a whopping 20 millionaires.

The butlers were on hand to bring a bit of luck and joy to people’s day. They paid for customers’ shopping, carried their bags and helped National Lottery players in choosing their lucky numbers with the aid of a special gold phone that was on speed-dial to a real local winner.

Mohammed Hussain (pictured centre), owner of Allanwater Papers, said: “We obviously know that a portion of each National Lottery ticket we sell goes towards supporting Good Causes around the UK, but we were amazed to find out the number of millionaires that have been made in our area.”
