Craft beer shop opens in Edinburgh

Stewart Brewing 2 litre growler

Beer enthusiasts have another venue to aim for in Edinburgh, with the news that craft brewer Stewart Brewing has opened the Stewart’s Dockside Tap in Leith.

The new take-home shop offers 10 taps of fresh Stewart’s beer, allowing consumers to fill one- and two-litre growlers (pictured), alongside a range of bottles and mini-casks from pale ales and double IPAs to sours and lagers. A ‘rent-a-cask’ service for party hire is also available.

Jo Stewart, founder of Stewart Brewing, commented: “It’s exciting to finally open the doors as we know there is a very thirsty community of locals who are keen to pay us a visit.”

The shop is located at 38 Bernard Street, Leith and is open Wednesday and Thursday 12 to 8pm and Friday, Saturday and Sunday 12 to 9pm.
